What GoldCue provides

GoldCue provides free gold-price calculators and educational guides: melt-value estimates by karat and weight, karat price tables, a calculator comparing historical and current prices, and annual-average price history for 2000–2025. The service is provided for personal, informational use.

Price information is estimated and dated

Gold prices move continuously. Figures on GoldCue are calculated from a spot price that is either (a) the site’s snapshot of 2 November 2026, clearly labelled as a snapshot wherever it appears, or (b) a figure you enter yourself. Results are estimates of melt value — the market value of pure gold content — and are not quotations, offers, or promises of any transaction price. A jeweller’s or dealer’s actual buying or selling price will differ. Always confirm current prices with a market source before transacting.

Not financial advice

Nothing on GoldCue is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Historical prices describe the past and do not predict future prices. Decisions to buy, sell, hold or borrow against gold are yours alone; consider advice from a qualified professional for significant transactions.

Accuracy

We work to keep every figure on the site internally consistent and correctly calculated, and we correct errors when they are reported. However, we do not warrant that the site is error-free or uninterrupted, and we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on figures shown here, to the fullest extent permitted by law. If you spot an error, please report it via the contact page.

Acceptable use

• Use the calculators and guides for your own information.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that burdens the server, attempt to disrupt it, or misrepresent GoldCue figures as live market quotations.
• You may link to any page and quote figures with attribution and a link back; the snapshot date should travel with any quoted figure.

Intellectual property

The site’s text, design and calculator code belong to GoldCue. The underlying price arithmetic (spot ÷ 31.1034768, karat ÷ 24) is a matter of public method and is described openly on our methodology page.

We may change these terms or the site at any time; the current version will always be on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
